New York City VS Orlando, Florida

New York, the Empire State, is a state of business and economics. Living in the states lower half is always full of commuters and is where the majority of the population resides. This is where you will find the atmosphere that makes New York so alive. The streets are always full of travelers, business men, and everyday people from all over the world. In the winter the heartbeat of New York is not slowed. In New York the people must deal with non-stop movement. Living in New York for most of my life I can see what makes this state unique. The atmosphere is alive with many different scents and sounds. Walking in an environment of noisy cars, busses, and people is what the average Florida resident is not used to. The cultural diversity is widespread and there are many people from all around the world exchanging ideas and lifestyles. Most people are in a rush and have places to go. The constant movement of people is what gives New York its reputation. New York is a city while Florida I have experienced is the total opposite.
Orlando, Florida-the Sunshine State is 1,086 miles apart from New York, New York (Travel Math, 1). Most notably the temperature difference compared to New York is great. The warm weather and beautiful sconces are what make people want to vacation there. Walking around the people seemed very relaxed and polite. Other than cars on the highways people don’t appear to be in a hurry. Most people I came across are either vacationing or are on retirement. The physical difference of the landscape is that there is more open space, palm trees, and a cooling breeze. The beach and water in Florida is much enjoyable than the chilly waters of New York. When the sun is not completely out then the sky is occupied with large fast-moving clouds.
