what a difference!!

When I visited my Country Puerto Rico I said to myself this is not at all like New York. Starting with the atmosphere, in New York we experience all different types of weather hot, cold, and warm. In Puerto Rico you must be accustomed to the scorching hot weather everyday. Food is another difference as well. Rice is the main source of food in my country. In New York there is a much bigger variety of food to choose from since there is such a rich diversity of cultures to choose from. In Puerto Rico i do have a bigger sense of freedom compared to New York. I feel this way because where I live in Puerto Rico it's a very isolated area where not much people disturb you. Everyone is family in our neighborhood, we live on a steep mountain so to reach the next neighborhood it would take some traveling by car or bike. During the night hours in New York I didn't feel that same sensation at night constantly hearing cars and trains as compared to birds and toads. It all depends on your lifestyle as to what you prefer. I adore the New York Lifestyle being so fast paced and always in motion whereas in Puerto Rico it seems like the whole community comes to a stop at night. Both areas have their differences, in my opinion New York also has more to offer in terms of attractions and things to do. In New York you can just walk down the street and you're in your nearest recreational park or field. There is more than 1700 parks, playgrounds,  and recreation facilities across the five boroughs. Puerto Rico has very few parks or places to just let off some steam at times. The scenery of Puerto Rico does look more majestic though, being surrounded by beautiful green trees and its mystique makes me almost want to be apart of the nature life. In New York you are greeted by half destroyed trees that are polluted with candy wrappers and empty Coca-Cola cans on the floor. However I am accustomed to that lifestyle but when i visited Puerto Rico it did attract me more, almost like 2 magnets. The New York life is definitely attractive and a great experience but if I was to make a choice the Puerto Rican lifestyle is for me.
