I noticed his strong accent so I asked him where he was from and he told me he was from Guyana. This was the first time I ever met someone from Guyana so I started asking him about what was it like to live in Guyana. He mentioned that he lived in a very rural area and that one day he was sleeping in the upstairs bedroom. he woke up and he was thirsty so he went for a glass of water and he saw out of the corner of his eye and it was a jaguar. My friend was so frightened that he froze for a second, wanted to scream for his brother but not a single word came out. Then he ran upstairs and let his brother know that there was a jaguar in the house both were so scared that they did not even bother to check if the jaguar left or not basically they were held hostage for the whole night by the jaguar. My friend was so lucky because many people have been attacked and killed by jaguars. There have been many attacks by on humans by jaguars (Associated Press,1). I am so grateful that nothing did happen to him because he became my best friend we shared so much in and showed me that not everyone is out to hurt me. Every morning that we work out we start it off by "do you even lift bro".
