Midnight Train

I was on the train with my brother and a friend one midnight. There was a commotion on the train and we weren’t bothered by it because stuff like that usually happened. Well this night was different, as the commotion kept getting louder, I over heard a guy tell this to the other guy “why you don’t hit me instead of the girl!” Needless to say this grabbed caught my attention because a fight was about to ensue. Then without a warning big fight broke out between the two guys, who we will call guy A and B, against the guy that was going to hit the girl, guy C.
As we were approaching 149st and Grand Concourse Guy C threw a glass bottle at A and B and hit one of them and blood was everywhere, while this was happening B was about to pull a gun a out and about to shoot guy C. But cops were waiting in the train station. Guy C was knocked out by the time we arrived. Both A and B were arrested and after they were one of the guys yelled at guy C “you never hit a women!” Did you know that according to the New York Times 1 in 5 women in the U.S are abused. (Rabin)  This included rape and domestic violence. Everyone in the train had mixed emotions; they were either glad or scared of the situation. It could have escalated to something even worse like a shootout but everyone was glad that the guy got what he deserved.
