The Charging Bull

New York City is well known for tourism and all the attractions the tourist come to see. You can see places like the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx, and all the way to the Staten Island Ferry  to get a great vantage point of the Statue of Liberty. People living in New York usually don't appreciate all the wonderful sights the city has to offer. The tourists love it! Boy do they love that bull on Wall Street. Its hilarious how most people are fascinated with the bulls testicles. You can find many obscene photos online for a good laugh.
I travel there frequently and always stop by to the bull and the tourist surrounding it. There are several ways to get there such as the subway, taxi, bus, and even the Staten Island Ferry. If you ever pass through lower Manhattan, try to see the "Charging Bull" by Arturo Di Modica. It is located at Bowling Green at the intersections of Broadway and Morris street. ( Charging Bull) It took Arturo two years to finally finish the sculpture. It is so massive that it had to be casted in separate parts. The bull is entirely made of bronze. This giant mass of bronze weighs over three and a half tons and is eighteen feet long. ( Charging Bull) Arturo placed it lower Manhattan as a Christmas gift for the city. The NYSE eventually removed the sculpture at the end of the day, but with the help of Park Commissioner Henry Stern, Mayor Ed Koch, and Arturo Piccolo from the Bowling Green Association, they were able to find a permanent home. The bull is considered to be "a talisman of Wall street traders" ( Charging Bull) and a representation of New York City's ambition.
